Description
Original cross made by Dr. Santamour, US National Arboretum in 1970 between P. orientalis (female) and P. occidentalis (male). Trees have a pleasing pyramidal form in youth with dark green, mildew and anthracnose resistant foliage. Compartmentalizes wounds well. Leaves are 4" in diameter, 5 lobed; fruits in 2's and 3's.
