Description
Tree with cream, olive, and light brown bark. Pyramidal in habit in youth, developing with age a large, open, wide spreading outline with massive branches. Leaves remotely 5-lobed, fruits 1 to 2 with less than 1/3" between the fuits, resistant to anthracnose and powdery mildew, readily comparmentalizes against decay organisms; tremendous growth at Milliken Arboretum with 6-year old trees 20 to 24' high and 12-14' wide with a 6" dbh. Bark does not exfoliate as early as 'Yarwood'.
