Cultivation

Dry gravely well-drained soils or seasonally moist soils. Open fields, full sun. Often occurs in very dry or nutrient-poor sites, especially on hilltops.

Propagation

Collect in June store dry-scarify by rubbing with sand. Store cold-moist 90 days. Germination occurs at cool temperatures (50s).
