Description

To 40m, crown broad conic, branches level; shoots stout, orange-brown with a waxy bloom; bark rust brown. Buds spherical, without resin. Leaves to 35mm long, obtuse, light green with two stomatal bands beneath and a diffuse band above. Cones 2.5-4x2cm, with numerous scales, ovoid, lustrous pale brown; scales smoothly rounded and not or only slightly wavy or emaringate at apex.
