Description

Tree 40' to 60' tall, with a nearly equal spread; can attain 100' in height. Weakly pyramidal habit inyouth, in old age the crown is a braod top of ascending-arching branches often with drooping branchlets not unlike the American elm in outline; however by no means aesthetically pleasing. Fall color yellow or yellow green.
